The pollen traps only stay on each hive for no more than 48 hours. The traps are then removed and pollen is then collected, sifted to clear non-pollen items, then poured into jars.

Raising our children in Connecticut, they loved visiting “Papa Honey,” helping him with his annual honey harvest. Inspired by local beekeeping family and friends, we continue the tradition. When our friend moved back to Europe, he passed on his hives and equipment. Papa Honey passed on equipment as well. Both worked as my mentors providing guidance.
